Players who are tired of just waiting in line on Summoners Rift in League of Legends often seek out other means to enjoy the game with their friends. This can lead to situations where friends want to demonstrate their skill, resulting in plays that would not be seen elsewhere in the game.
This video from Reddit combines two elements of League that have always enthralled fans: Outplays. Lee Sin and Gragas are famous for their amazing maneuverability and displacement abilities, which can render opponents completely immobile, making it a battle of skill.
Each scene in this montage focuses on whether or not a Lee Sin or Gragas player can either make the most flashiest play and secure a kill or die trying. With the Prowlers Claw and Galeforce Mythic items, these champions are given additional dashes in their kits to make the plays more complex.
Gragas retaliated with body slam combos into kegs, throwing Lee Sin into them even when it appeared like their opponent would not be near the keg.
Both players were attempting to outplay one another in a one-vs-one matchup, according to the clips.
Though a normal League game may be unlikely to see such gameplay, these players have clearly mastered them, giving new meaning to outplaying.
