We have some great news for everyone who wants to haveInk Masterfinally back after a long layoff!
The artists at Paramount+ have confirmed that on Wednesday, September 7, season 14 of the tattoo competition will be returning to its new home. It was originally developed by Spike, but later became the Paramount Network. It was canceled in 2020 due to the network's shifting its programming focus away from reality television content, only to be revived on the streaming service.
Joel Madden of Good Charlotte fame will remain as the new host, but only as the apparent Master of Chaos who will intervene here and there to make unexpected announcements. There will also be a new panel of judges with Nikko Hurtado, formerInk Masterwinner Ryan Ashley, and Ami James as the judges.
There are a few other changes to note. This new season is limited to ten episodes, and fan-favorite artists will return to compete in the ultimate tattoo competition. Typically streaming services order fewer episodes of all of their shows, so it remains to be seen if this will be the format if the show returns for a season 15.
The only thing we can say about this season is an even stronger championship battle, as well as the show's ability to become even more unfiltered and bold. Also, remember that these artists aren't limited to challenges that we've seen before.
