Yvette Nicole Brown on 'LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation' with Valeria ...

Collider got to meet one of the film's stars, Yvette Nicole Brown, about involving her Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures character, Valeria, in the delightfully funny crossover with Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor) during the premiere of LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.

The LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation is mostly set aboard the Halcyon, the premium Chandrilan Star Liner that has appeared in many Star Wars films since the launch of the Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World. Finn (Omar Miller), Rey (Helen Sadler), Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), and the three droids gather to discuss their vacation plans, which puts him in a unique position to be visited by three Force Ghosts: Obi-Wan Kenobi (J

In a 1-on-1 interview with Yvette Nicole Brown, the voice behind the rebel fighter Covette Valeria, we discussed the purpose of her involvement with Obi-Wan Kenobi, what she has learned from the recent Community reports, and what she can reveal about her role in the upcoming Disenchanted film, which is a sequel to Amy Adams' popular film Enchanted.

COLLIDER: First of all, I want to say that I loved LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation, and that I loved your character.

NICOLE BROWN OF YVETTE: Thank you so much for watching. I haven't seen it yet, and I'm so excited to see it.

It's so good, my gosh.

BROWN: Thank you.

What was it like to be able to reprise Valeria and play her again? Because you also turned her in Freemakers.

BROWN: It was a lovely surprise, because when I got the call, they said, "Do you want to come and be Valeria again?" And they were like, "Oh my God, you're the best!" So, it was just an embarrassment of fortune as a LEGO enthusiast and a Star Wars fan, and to get to be on the Jedi side of things. With this special, every dream I ever dreamed of is coming true.

I'm a big supporter of the fake marriage trope. So, when I realized that was the trope for her and Obi-Wan, what was your reaction when you saw the script, and you saw that?

BROWN: It's pretty exciting because I'm a big fan of Obi-Wan, as well as of Ewan McGregor, who plays him. I think it's really funny, because we've never seen Obi-Wan in the way that we'll see him in Summer Vacation. So, people will be surprised how flexible and fun he is when he's with Valeria.

Did you record the song via Zoom or did you get to be in the same room with James Arnold Taylor when he was doing the voice?

BROWN: No, I did not record while I was in Ireland. So, I recorded myself in my tiny apartment in Ireland. Then the Disney+ video that I saw last week was the first time I got to actually see us together and hear our voices together. It was fantastic how they organized everything.

Now, I don't know if Obi-Wan Kenobi will ever get a Season 2, but I'm certainly ready to begin the campaign to get Valeria in live action, because I just love that character and what you bring to her.

BROWN: Thank you so much, wouldn't it be wonderful if I could put on all the clothes and go and be her in real life, oh my goodness, please let it happen, that would be amazing. Even if I'm not in it, a second season of Obi-Wan would be fantastic to me.

Are there any other Star Wars stories that you'd like to be a part of right now that aren't as well-known?

BROWN: I'd want to be a guest on The Mandalorian because I just love Grogu so much and I'd want to wear it in the Mandalorian outfit, so that I wouldn't have to do hair and makeup. That's part of my agreement like, "Can I be Mandalorian too?" But yes, it'd be the one that I'd choose, because I'd love to be just in some scenes with Grogu.

When the wheels turn a bit, you mentioned Disenchanted and that you are filming that in Ireland, may you shed any light on your character in that?

BROWN: I can tease that Maya Rudolph is the new big bad, and my character, Rosaleen, is in almost every scene with her. I can also tease that, but I'm not going to go on and let that be what I should do.

There have been so many rumors and whispers about a Community film, especially when it comes to films. Have you heard anything about it?

BROWN: I know that, as Allison said the other day, there have been a lot of discussions, everybody... This is the thing that we've been talking about for years, but everyone has just branched off and done so many things at the same time? So, I believe that it will happen, I don't know when. There are discussions right now, right?

I'll go back to Summer Vacation, which is what we're here for. Were there any opportunities for you to ad lib or, for you to make your own joke?

BROWN: There were a few times when you record, actually, you do it as scripted, and then people will say, "Here's a fun pass, or how would you say that?" I don't know what I can do to make it better, because Lieutenant Valeria is already so well-drawn to begin with there, and I don't know what she could say in the video that would make it better. "Dank farrik," which is, I guess cuss words in the
