Parallel to the Sapporo stop in Pokemon Go Fest, there will be an in-game global event happening at the same time. From August 5-7, certain Pokemon will be spawning more often, and there will be a Collection Challenge to catch all of the increased spawns.
This small event has a grass-type theme, increasing the spawn rate of six different grass-type Pokemon.
The reward for completing the Collection Challenge is the regional Pokemon Pansage, which is only normally available in Asia. It's possible that Pansage will continue to spawn globally in a future event (as its other monkey brethren also did). However, you should definitely try to complete this challenge if you haven't obtained a Pansage yet.

For a reward, catch the following Pokemon:
- Paras
- Bellsprout
- Hoppip
- Sunkern
- Cherrim (Sunshine Form)
- Cottonee
