Evo 2022 is a fighting game tournament that has surpassed the top level, and many players are attempting to prove themselves here. Rather than being limited to one game, the tournament allows the most popular fighting games to have competitions broadcast worldwide.
In Evo 2022, there will be many game tournaments for players to participate in, and every game will have a prize pool that will be divided among players.
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Granblue Fantasy: Versus
- Guilty Gear Strive
- Melty Blood: Type Lumina
- Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
- MultiVersus
- Skullgirls 2nd Encore
- Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition
- Tekken 7
- The King of Fighters 15
On theEvo 2022 website, you may view the whole schedule for each tournament, but each tournament should have a decent prize pool.
How much is the prize pool for Evo 2022?
The prize pool is a bit complex when you first look at it. All participants pay $10, which goes into the tournament prize pool. The top eight players will have the prize pool divided among them.
- First place: 42 percent
- Second place: 20 percent
- Third place: 13 percent
- Fourth place: Seven percent
- Fifth and sixth place: Five percent
- Seventh and eighth place: Four percent
Players will be paid based on how many players sign up, rather than a fixed amount that gets raised based on how many players sign up. It's possible that a low entry fee will increase the pool more than it would be with a higher entry fee.
The example given in theEvo rulesstates that if 300 persons entered the tournament, the total prize would be $3,000, as everyone paid $10.
In that particular situation, the first place would earn $1,260 (42 percent), the second would earn $600 (24 percent), the third would earn $390 (13 percent), and so on until all of the eight participants got their prizes.
MultiVersus, which starts with a fixed prize pool that expands with each new player, is a notable exception to this rule.
What is the prize pool for MultiVerses Evo 2022?
The MultiVersus prize pool continues to have the same rules as above, but the prize pool starts with a substantial $100,000, and each player will need to share the winnings, but the prizes remain substantial. Consequently, the top three players can anticipate to win a minimum of $42,000, $20,000, and $13,000.
