Fallah and El Arbi are no strangers to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having previously worked on Marvel's Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel. The two have both expressed their gratitude to Feige in the past, particularly as the creator of the Marvel Cinematic Universe acknowledges the end of a project.

El Arbi thanked director James Gunn and filmmaker Edgar Wright for their contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Gunn is the author of The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, but Wright was forced to quit the project due to creative differences.
