The COVID-19 epidemic saw its final season conclude short, with no one earning the coveted trophy but instead the cash prize normally associated with the program. Then, Paramount Plus apparently canceled Ink Master.
Many hoped for the show to return, and Paramount Plus deemed it appropriate to do so. It will return on the service on September 7 and will run for ten episodes, meaning fans only have about a month to wait until the match for the title of Ink Master and $250,000 begins anew.
Ryan Ashley, a former Ink Master winner known for her intricate black-and-gray beadwork, lace, and ornamental jewelry designs, will judge this season at Miami Ink (where he co-owners of Love Hate Tattoos with former Ink Master host Chris Nunez).
Dave Navarro will be the host for the new season, although it isn't clear whether Chris Nunez will return in any capacity, if any, but only as a host. He is said to bring "crazy twists and game-changing bombs to the competition." It's a shake-up, after all, but it'll be interesting to see how it shakes out. Navarro is, after all, near synonymous with Ink Master.
Although the title is on the line, it is only ten episodes. In comparison, the last full season of Ink Master (season 12) ran for 16 episodes.
Season 14 of Ink Master will be available on Paramount Plus on September 7th.
