We have waited, avid admirers and eager newcomers alike, and here it is, the third teaser for the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime adaptation, which, if you know the littlest bit about the series, is as bloody as one might expect.
Chainsaw Man, a manga depicting Tatsuki Fujimoto, was serialized in the Shueishas Weekly Shonen Jump publication in December 2020, with the second part beginning serialization in Shonen Jump+ just last month.
Devils and Devil Hunters exist in the world of Chainsaw Man and seek each other's mutual destruction. Devils are born out of human fear, and they are usually evil beings that seek to be miserable. However, there are exceptions. Denji is one of those humans who, after being betrayed and left to die, forms a friendship with his pet Devil named Pochita, which transforms him into Chainsaw Man, a sort of Devil-human hybrid with chainsaws hanging from his body.
Makima, a highly regarded Devil Hunter and one of the main characters in the series, walks into the scene of a horrific bloodbath with two others in the background. We are shown snippets of different characters, including Denji, Makima, Aki Hayakawa, another Public Safety Devil Hunter, and Power, a Fiend and a Devil Hunter who is part of Makimas' squad.
The film itself is transforming halfway through, at roughly a minute in, into a stupendous adrenaline-filled display of violence and action. Denji is seen smashing Devils to pieces with his chainsaw hands, as well as a sequence of other characters apparently entering battle.
Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, and Fairouz Ai as Power are just some of the highlights of the trailer.
Chainsaw Man is set to be released in October of this year. Part 1 of the manga is being adapted, and part 2 is currently being developed, with new chapters coming every Tuesday.
