Even with the many new Netflix original movies subscribers have to choose from on a weekly basis, it has been fascinating and quite refreshing to see how many older theatrical favorites have topped the Netflix Top 10 this week. Today, August 5, 2022, I see a blockbuster classic I have been hoping to see appear on the Top 10 Movies in the United States since its recent addition to the platform.

The 15:17 to Paris, a Netflix original romantic comedy starring Pallavi Sharda and cast member of How I Met Your Father, is no longer the only one from Netflix's Top 10 Movies, with the stunning 1997 sequel The Age of Adaline occupying eighth position.

After our August 3 results identical to the order of the previous day, I can't say the same about Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows. These include intense survivalist drama Keep Breathing, enthralling science fiction series Trainwreck: Woodstock 99, and Uncoupled with Neil Patrick Harris. The most recent episodes of South Korean import Extraordinary Attorney Woo are still dominating the bottom half of the list, which includes the teen sports spin-off All American: Homecoming.
