Trei Zer0 Morris took to Twitter today to inform followers that he would not retire unless he was forced to. Following a defeat to the New York Subliners, he announced that he would not do it again.
The London Royal Ravens were eliminated from the Call of Duty League Championship after being reverse swept by the Subliners. Despite this, the Ravens held an early 2-0 lead over New York City for the Champs. However, the Subliners started gaining momentum after a victory on Control, which eventually resulted in them winning the reverse match.
Zer0 appeared distraught on stage, as any professional would be when they were just eliminated from the biggest tournament of the year, and took his shirt off immediately after the match, saying, "Fuck, have no idea whats next for me." Many fans were concerned whether or not the 25-year-old would be putting his sticks on his lap.
Zer0 has been playing professional CoD since 2015, but was prohibited from participating in the CDL during the Cold War season due to visa issues. When Vanguard was released, Zer0 joined the London Royal Ravens starting roster again this year, and saw success throughout the year.
Unless I am forced to, I will not retire.
It's unclear whether or not Zer0 will remain on the Londons' roster. But for the time being, it appears like he doesnt intend to leave CoD anytime soon.
