Anne Heche, an actor and former Dancing With the Stars contestant, has been injured in a serious car accident, according to TMZ.

Heche was badly burned in an accident on August 5, 2022, according to TMZ. The accident took place on Friday, August 5 in Los Angeles. She was transported by an ambulance after the accident.

According to TMZ, Heche was driving a blue Mini Cooper that she crashed into an apartment complex's garage at the time of the incident.

The collision occurred at 10:55 a.m. PT when a vehicle collided with a residence located on the 1700 block of Walgrove Ave., according to ET Online. The LAPD did not identify the driver nor any injuries, although the officer informed the outlet that the driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

According to TMZ, the actress was sent off after the accident.

Heche sped off after an accident, according to witness statements obtained by TMZ. The car then crashed into a nearby house, which resulted in a fire. The fire engulfed the house.

Firefighters on the roof of the house appear to be putting out flames. There's also a bottle with a red cap next to the gearshift, which looks like a bottle of alcohol.
