The first The Ascent DLC for the twin-stick cyberpunk game has been announced on the first anniversary of its release. Cyber Heist follows the main campaign's events, and includes new locations, a new class of weapons, and a series of top secret missions to play alone or with friends.
Once you've completed the main story, you can reconnect with Kira, your previous boss who has a strange new job for you. It'll take you away from your familiar arcology in a brand new one powered by the Malhorst-Gelb Group's latest technology.
With the Cyber Heist expansion, Melee weapons will be added to the Ascents arsenal, giving you the chance to test items like the Rock Crusher and Guillotine.
The new story missions and side missions also involve talking to some new characters, and youll be able to play in co-op even if some members of your group have pushed their heels towards finishing the base campaign. As long as the player who hosts the game has completed it, everyone in the group may explore the new content.
If you haven't played Ascent yet, it's a superb game from start to finish, even if the beauty is superficial in some areas. The Cyber Heist DLC release date is scheduled for August 18 and it'll cost $9.99 USD / 7.99 GBP.
