Mojang has provided a host of other Minecraft DLCs over the years, such as Sonic the Hedgehog and SpongeBob SquarePants, just to name a few. However, one fan was unsatisfied with the amount of DLC available for the game that was based on other franchises and decided to take it to the next level, constructing a stunning game based on Control.
Control is an action-adventure game that has become well-known among many in the gaming industry. One of the games' strengths was its location, which is the Federal Bureau of Control's paranormal headquarters.
A user known as Ominous_Hippopotamus shared a video on a Reddit user's Minecraft project, which revealed the exterior of the Federal Bureau of Control's Oldest House. However, this was far from the scope of the build.
Ominous_Hippopotamus shared a video showing them walking through a seemingly stunning recreation of Control's Central Research Area, complete with a massive tree growing in the middle of the room. Furthermore, the base would have been destroyed if they had accidentally died.
The Minecraft community has been raving about the Ominous_Hippopotamus build in just over a day. Many users also praised the lighting used inside the Oldest House.
While this Control-themed Hardcore base is impressive, it isn't the only Minecraft modification that fans have made that transformed the voxel world into Breath of the Wild, complete with a Sheika tower. Maybe Ominous_Hippopotamus will add even more to their Control build by making the iconic Ashtray Maze seen in the game.
Minecraft is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
