Producers of She-Hulk Address CGI Criticisms and Support Marvel VFX Artists ...

The production team behind She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has responded to feedback on the way the program utilized computer-generated imagery (CGI).

Kat Coiro, the director of the series Television Critics Association press tour panel, addressed people who have complained about the program for failing to make Tatiana Maslanys Hulk the bigger.

I believe the CGI being criticized has to do with our culture's belief in its ownership of women's bodies.

I believe that a large part of the criticism comes from the belief that they are capable of dissecting the CGI lady. We based it not on bodybuilders but rather on Olympian athletes. On the other hand, I believe that if we had taken a different approach, we would be dealing with the same criticism.

The group also raised concerns about claims made by VFX artists who work for other companies that Marvel has flooded other businesses with requests, forcing them to put in long hours of effort, and resulting in worsening visual effects as well as mistreatment of personnel.

What do She-Hulk's Producers Say About the CGI Criticisms and Marvel's VFX Artists?

Jessica Gao, who is the program's writer, says it's a tremendous endeavor to do a show where the main character is CG. It's unfortunate that a lot of artists feel like they're being pressured and that they have a lot of work to do. I believe everybody on this panel agrees that they should stand in solidarity with all workers.

Kat continued by saying that we stand in agreement with what they believe the truth is. We work alongside them, but we did not work behind the scenes during these difficult days and nights. When they are under stress, we are there to stand behind them and listen to what they may have to say.

Tatiana said, "I feel quite respectable to the amount of capability these artists have and the amount of work they need to complete in such a short period of time." She noted, "Clearly, much less time than might be given to them in terms of, like, completing these tasks."

We must have a better appreciation of working conditions, which aren't always in the best possible condition.

In a statement, the 36-year-old actress expressed her joy at receiving the chance to play the character, which describes how she navigates the complicated life of a green superpowered hulk.
