When it comes to bowling, sticky balls and sports aren't compatible. We're trying to bowl the ball and get a strike, not having the ball stuck to us!

Several Nintendo Switch Sports players have been reporting the exact problem. One such player, @MCwreckshin, has tweeted directly to Nintendo regarding the issues. This appears to have only occurred since the most recent summer update, and MCwreckshin has taken footage of it all.

The ball remains stuck to the avatar's hand virtually every time, as you can see from the video! Sometimes, after a few attempts, the ball is recovered and sent straight to the floor, missing their toes, however!

MCwreckshin isn't the only player to mention this on Reddit. A same person under the username sweeneytoadmusic has created a thread in the Nintendo Switch Sports subreddit, and others are also reporting similar issues.

When attempting to throw anything with a curve, one user, scowley75, claims that the bowling ball sticks, while another BoomerTheStar47_2 claims that this issue only occurs when playing bowling online.

sweeneytoadmusic has since tried this offline, and although they encountered the issue a lot less, they still encountered the same sticky ball issue.

Another user is having the exact opposite issue: the ball isn't going to stick, rather leaving the player's hand before they can move.

If you're a regular at the bowling alley online, Nintendo has yet to address the issue. After all, no one wants sticky balls.

Have you ever encountered this issue or any other Nintendo Switch Sports bugs? Let us know!
