The latest brawler to hit the scene is the Warner Bros. title MultiVersus, which includes iconic characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Bugs Bunny, and Tom & Jerry.
Digital Foundry's tech experts couldn't resist and have decided to do a video comparison to see how this new game stacks up against Masahiro Sakurai's masterpiece. It's already got a huge task ahead of it considering how much Smash Bros. has been refined over the years, but can it actually compete?
The combat is naturally inspired by the Smash Bros. moveset, but the mechanics and flow of combat aren't quite as tight as Smash Bros. It's also missing on-screen visual cues and sounds that have previously been overlooked.

This free-to-play game is apparently skipping a Switch release, although there are plenty of alternatives to Super Smash Bros. on the Switch, including Brawlhalla and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
