It's possible that there are players out there who believe Fallout 4 was the last good entry into the long-running post-apocalyptic series. With Fallout 76 being regarded as one of the worst games released in gaming history, up there with Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky, the 2015 release is a safe bet for many gamers. A very ambitious add-on is currently in the works, with a "standalone" version just released.
"Fallout London," is a fantasy mod by a group of modders who aspire to bring the familiar feel and feel of the wasteland to England's capital city. A demo has been released by Team FOLON, which includes a brief quest, as well as the introduction of a new merchant named Nick the Fence. As of this article being published, the developer is still calling out anyone who wants to assist in the completion of this project.
There are no further details on a suitable Fallout 4 release date for the final version. A recent trailer for the Mod was unveiled, which stated that the mod would be released sometime in 2023. The project has even received the attention of Bethesda itself, which offered a position to Team FOLON's lead technical adviser, Ryan Johnson. Carter was also offered a position at the studio, but chose instead to complete Fallout London.
The open-world RPG, which Todd Howard announced recently, is by no means done. Whether or not it will be as successful as the fourth installment, or the ones that followed it, remains to be seen, but enthusiasts are certainly eager for the next entry, if it does make its impact.
Fans of The Elder Scrolls 6 may wait a long time before Bethesda releases Fallout 5, which has been rescheduled for next year. It's very probable that the studio's upcoming sci-fi epic will take center stage right up until launch day.
Fallout 4 is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
