Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Infinity, a live-action take on the iconic Assassin's Creed franchise that will feature new locations, characters, and more as the years go on. A new concept video depicts what the game would be like if it were built using Unreal Engine 5.

A video depicts an assassin exploring a striking Persian landscape, as well as vast open spaces, ancient ruins, and other gameplay elements. The setting for the video is probably one of the Assassin's Creed Infinity locations.

When it comes to the actual content in Assassin's Creed Infinity, the rumors are pretty much all Assassin's Creed fans have to go on. However, more information on the project may be revealed during the next Ubisoft Forward event scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 10 at 12:00pm PT.

For the uninitiated, Assassin's Creed Rift is a smaller-scale AC game that plays more like the older games in the series. This has yet to be confirmed. While the game was originally scheduled to release sometime later this year, it's now believed that Assassin's Creed Rift's release date has been postponed until 2023.

TeaserPlay has also produced a concept video depicting what an Assassin's Creed set in Japan would be like.

Fans may also pass the time by checking out Assassin's Creed Valhalla's new content. Even though the game is over two years old at this point, Ubisoft has continued to release updates for the enormous open world game.

Assassin's Creed Infinity is in the works.
