The Stardew Valley mod allows you to build a whole farming empire

The Stardew Valley mod allows you to build a whole farming empire ...

A new Stardew Valley mod that expands the farming game into an industrial farming empire sim is here. If you've ever wanted to make your farm just that little bit bigger (or, rather, quite a lot bigger) then you're in luck with this user-created remake for the life game.

Prism 99, the moderator of Nexus Mods, continues to work with previous Farm Expansion modifications that allowed users to expand their plot of land by ten acres. The map now includes ten additional parcels of land along the left hand side.

The land is available from the start-up for free for players to test out the expansion and see how it works in Pelican Town. Prism says their long-term intention is to release four content packs with additional expansions that will display as a for sale sign on a notice board in Pelican Town.

The mod also includes a handy Farm expansion warp network to make managing your newly purchased parcel of land much easier, as well as the ability to quickly switch between the various expansions and your new home base making managing them a lot simpler.

Two additional structures are included in the mod to assist larger scale farms. The Fromagerie is a cheese factory that comes pre-installed with three large vats that can each accept up to 50 milk products at a time to make cheese on a grand scale. Meanwhile, the Winery is the perfect place to store all of your kegs and casks.

Prism also recommends a new version of their game, Stardew Web, which allows for additional customization of the items and artifacts that can be found foraging on the plots, as well as allowing you to stock the expansions with the fish types of your choice. In fact, you may lock individual plots to different seasons, so you can farm all of your crops during the year.

While playing with friends, you may also use the mod. Check out our Stardew Valley multiplayer guide for more information on how to get your co-op games up and running. Haunted Chocolatier, a new game from Stardew Valley developer ConcernedApe, looks to be spectacular.
