Streamers of any size can play a game for an hour sponsored and earn 8,000 dollars: BoxBox explains ...

BoxBox, a veteran League of Legends streamer, provided some insight into his and other streamers' income, giving several personal stories about his previous mistakes.

Streaming is a business with its highs and lows. While it may be difficult to enter the upper echelon of Twitch, those who do stand to make millions off of lucrative sponsorship agreements do well. BoxBox explained how he often failed to maximize his earnings.

BoxBox stated that at his current level, he could earn up to $8,000 per hour of sponsored gameplay, although BoxBox claims that he now frequently declines such offers.

While Riven's prolific main is certainly capable of making tens of millions with little effort now, this was not always the case for the young streamer. BoxBox has shared several instances where he unknowingly lost thousands of dollars during sponsored deals.

I was 18 years old, and the idea of earning more than minimum wage was still very new to me, so I was like, "Oh my God, yes!" The streamer replied, What I discovered was that I was actually earning about $2,000 an hour, but the guy was earning $1,700 an hour. I played it for 40 hours, earning a guy like $50,000!

BoxBox was surprised to discover that despite being one of the largestLeague of Legendsstreamers on Twitch, he was making significantly less than others during the same time.

BoxBox described these initial mistakes as learning experiences he would carry with him for the rest of his career; however, it would be difficult to quantify how much he benefited from them.
