After Apex Legends' teabagging controversy, Fate Legion was banned from Twitter ...

The saga of the Apex Legends teabagging player continues.

Fate Legion, a relatively new tournament organizer (TO) in the Apex Legends scene, got involved in a bit of controversy after banning a player for mocking his own teammate during a match. Following some social media controversy, the TO claimed that the decision was made in the heat of the moment.

Dilly, a professional footballer, was the first to post a tweet on the situation on Twitter, but esports personality Jake Lucky was a big part of the discussion. This led to Fate Legions' owner, F8Shakeweight, to accuse Jake Lucky of harassing Fate Legion and its employees on Discord.

Jake Lucky was ordered to remove himself from Apex for his behavior, according to Fate Legion, because he had violated the EAs User Agreement. However, it appears that Fate Legion might be in for some problems instead.

Fate Legion account banned from Twitter

F8Shakeweight stated in a press release: We at Fate Legion would like to express our sincere gratitude to the gaming community for the disruption this has caused. We simply wanted to organize the finest and most respected tournaments around but we fell short due to the joy of getting the chance to host Apex private lobbies in the future.

At the time, it appeared like the controversy was gonna wane. However, FateLegion has been suspended from Twitter.

Lucky's account was deleted, but his replies show that it's a pleasure for a few people to watch Fate Legion. Some joked that Fate Legion must have broken certain Twitter codes of conduct. Others just said they were teabagging in silence.

For the time being, it's still unclear why the Fate Legions account was suspended or how long it'll last.
