15 Awesome Minecraft Lego Sets (& How Much They Cost)

15 Awesome Minecraft Lego Sets (& How Much They Cost) ...

Minecraft is a game made up of blocks, in which the player's imagination is the only limit. However, before Minecraft, Legos were the only blocks with which people played. Just like with Minecraft, creativity is the only thing that limits what a person can do with Lego.

Minecraft Lego sets are a mix of two block-related brands that have converged on the market. As far as size or piece count, these sets aren't as big as others that received the Lego treatment, but they're still great glimpses into the world of the block-building video game. Here are some of the best that the collection has to offer.

The Lego-Minecraft crossover is a match made in heaven, with their similar blocky structure and their playful, imaginative kid-friendly themes. It's no surprise, then, that there are so many Lego sets on the market that have Minecraft-themed structures or settings.

And with so many popular ones, with more coming out in the future, such as the Abandoned Village from August 2022, we decided to revisit and build upon this list of the finest Minecraft Lego sets.

15 The First Adventure

The 542-piece set invites and evokes the same sense of adventure as Minecraft's main characters. The three-level structure is a nice recreation of the game's elements, with the iconic Steve and Alex character, a couple of skeletons, and a few animal friends.

The set also includes a waterfall elevator and sliding earth blocks, which highlight the game's interest in thinking and interacting with objects. This deceptively detailed structure can be purchased on Amazon for $58.99.

14 The Creeper Mine

The Creeper's spooky, horrible mob is perhaps Minecraft's most iconic character. It makes sense that there would be a fan-favorite Lego set featuring the blocky green guy. The centerpiece of the set is of course, a statue of the explosive Creeper himself, although there are other fun details sprinkled in.

The Creeper mineshaft set emphasizes both mining and destruction, in the form of explosive minecarts, Minecraft TNT, and a traversable rail track. Users can hop aboard the Creeper express and retrieve the stored gold within the statue's head, while pulling a lever that lets it tumble down chutes into a chest.

13 Skeleton Dungeon

This reworking of a 2014 set was announced at Lego Con 2022 to much interest and has quickly become a standout amongst Minecraft Legos. It has 364 pieces, including of course a few weapon-wielding, helmet-wearing skeletons.

This tiny, but well-balanced area gives a fun sense of atmosphere with its lush cave and dungeon structures, as well as a sprinkle of greenery. Users can collapse a little ceiling of blocks Indiana Jones style. One of the biggest highlights is the skeleton Spawner in the center, which can be rotated to simulate the flame and spinning foes inside. The corner in the corner can be spun to reveal a scary skeleton.

12 The Fortress

This Minecraft stronghold is appropriately robust and elaborate, boasting a total of 984 pieces. There are a number of minor details scattered throughout the structure that are enjoyable to see. These include a horse and sheep pen, and a small crafting table in one of the towers.

The Fortress has closed its doors and is no longer available on Amazon for the high price of $409.99.

11 The Bee Farm

In the 2019 Buzzy Bees update, Minecraft introduced bees. Bees are mainly passive mobs, but can become aggressive if provoked. Other bee-related features include beehives and honeycombs.

The Bee Farm Lego set includes all of this, as well as a Beekeeper and villager minifigure. There is an interactive section of the set that makes the bees fly in circles when the lever is rotated. The adorable Bee Farm set costs $15.99 USD on Amazon.

10 The Blaze Bridge

Blazes are an aggressive mob that can be found in the Nether, mostly at Nether fortresses. They are an essential component of the game, since they drop blaze rods when killed. These items are then used to make brewing stands for potions.

The Blaze Bridge Minecraft Lego set depicts the location where Blazes are most commonly found and includes unique minifigures such as the Blaze minifigure, which rotates in different directions similar to its in-game counterpart. The set also includes an Alex and Wither skeleton minifigure.

9 The Warped Forest

The Warped Forest is a Minecraft biome that is recognizable by its dark hues. This biome's Lego set includes a Huntress and a Piglin, as well as a Hoglin.

The Warped Forest set includes a blue warped fungus and shroomlight blocks that grow within the biome, similar to the biome in the video game.

The Warped Forest set is also interactive, with the ability to "explode" a warped fungus with the TNT block that also comes with the set. The set costs $29.99 USD on Amazon.

8 The Sky Tower

The Minecraft Sky Tower Lego set includes phantoms and flying mobs. The use of clear Lego blocks gives the phantoms the illusion of flying, giving it an animated feel that makes it feel almost magical.

The Sky Tower set includes a pilot minifigure with Elytra wings and a Netherite helmet. This set costs $48.99 USD on Amazon.

7 The Crafting Box 3.0

The Crafting Box 3.0 Lego set encourages a lot of creative freedom right on the box itself. The front and back of the box display four different ways that the suggested castle and farm building may be constructed, so users have a ton of options.

Steve and Alex minifigures are included in the Lego set, as well as Creeper, pig, and zombie mob minifigures. The Crafting Box 3.0 set costs $56.00 USD on Amazon.

6 The Crafting Box 2.0

The Crafting Box 2.0 Lego set may sound like an outdated version of The Crafting Box 3.0 set, but a look at the two suggests that The Crafting Box 2.0 has a little more to offer than the 3.0.

The Lego Set: The Crafting Box 2.0 is a collection of fifteen different, creative ways of building. They are not exclusive to the set as a whole, but rather are different methods for the five parts into which the Lego set is divided, similar to the 3.0 set.

5 The Ruined Portal

The Ruined Portal Lego set depicts a ruined Nether portal from Minecraft's Nether update. The set shows how both sides of a Nether portal appear: the Overworld and the Nether.

On the Overworld side of the set, there is a purple sheep and a Steve minifigure who wear Netherite armor that can either wield a diamond pickaxe or a Netherite sword.

The Ruined Portal set costs $24.00 on Amazon.

4 The Modern Treehouse

The Modern Treehouse Lego set is a mix of Minecraft and Legos' creative and building abilities. Although the Modern Treehouse does have a structure and instructions to construct it, there is still the notion that the treehouse itself was created out of a person's abilities either in the game or with the Legos. Therefore, it might appear different in the hands of different builders.

The Modern Treehouse Lego set is also divided into smaller portions of the whole treehouse. There are two animal-skinned minifigures, a zombie minifigure, and a charged Creeper minifigure on Amazon.

3 The Ocean Monument

The Minecraft update for 2014's Bountiful included ocean monuments. These structures are made up of unique prismarine blocks. Guardians and elder guardians reside in and around these ocean monuments.

The Ocean Monument Lego set includes a guardian and an elder guardian build. Like the Minecraft elder guardian that fires a beam that can hurt the player, the Lego elder guardian fires a beam when its tail is squeezed.

2 The Mine

The Mine Lego set includes some interactive items that mirror Minecraft gameplay mechanics and features. For example, there is a button that, when pressed, sends TNT and other blocks outward like they explode. Also, the minecarts slide down the rails as they do in the game.

The Mine Lego set has been discontinued by Lego, resulting in a high price point. Those interested in purchasing this Lego set can find it on Amazon for $439.98 USD.

1 The Mountain Cave

This is a massive Minecraft Lego set, complete with alliconic figures (including Steve, skeletons, and an evil Enderman), and plenty of moving parts to play with.

Building the Mountain Cave is a lengthy undertaking in and of itself, but the reward is well worth the effort. This plastic mountain colony was created by Lego artists, and it's now a 'rare collectible' item.

Minecraft is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and many other platforms.
