Dick and Barbara's Past Relationship Is Confirmed in a New Gotham Knights Cutscene ...

Individual character spotlights for each playable member of the Bat Family in Gotham Knights have recently delved into how gameplay looks for each playable member of the Bat Family. Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl have all been portrayed now with diverse suit selections and unique modes of traversal, and Red Hood is the last character fans are waiting to see more of in the last couple of months.

In the meantime, some more intimate narrative moments from Gotham Knights have been released. A while back, players were offered a quick look at a cutscene where Dick Grayson and Jason Todd reflect on Bruce Waynes death in the team's official headquarters. This is here in the Belfry that characters will interact with one another out of costume, and is likely to include the most heartfelt moments between the characters.

Dick and Barbara exercise together in the Belfry in front of equipment and a Gotham Goliaths poster, while Dick remains distant and dismissive until Barbara persuades him to speak up by raising Bruce, who still weighs heavily on Dick as he feels a responsibility to worth it.

Barbara makes several funny references to source material, including flaky cereal. Nightwing's best asset seems to have at least been amicable.

Barbaras most sentimental contribution to the conversation is reminding Dick that he is not an island, and that he has the rest of the Bat Family to rely on before the two embrace. Even if they have a romantic past, Dick and Barbara may have the most powerful and powerful relationship in Gotham Knights.

Gotham Knights is set to be released on October 25 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
