Malenia is thrashed by an Elden Ring player without getting hit once ...

Elden Ring was released on February 25 to great reviews and commercial success, but players are still working on tweaks and strategies for conquering the Lands Between. Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is the most well-known boss, as she has tested even the most seasoned Elden Ring players. In a video shared on Reddit, a player has managed to defeat her without taking a single hit.

Malenia is quite a capable person, and most Elden Ring players have at least heard about her difficulty. She can recover her own health when she hurts the player, she has a complex set of moves that is difficult to predict, and she has a long string of sword slashes known as the Waterfowl Dance that is very difficult to survivor. Despite her difficulty, players have figured out strategies to defeat her and conquer another harrowing trial in the game.

Elden Ring Player Tanks Malenia in New Game+7 RELEASED

An Elden Ring player describes a game focusing on parrying in a video posted on Reddit by user "Lancenfstr." It's actually one of the easiest parry moves to acquire in the game: the player starts with it equipped to their Buckler Shield at Stormveil Castle, the first major story dungeon in Elden Ring; the player must learn to maneuver slowly and dodge carefully in order to avoid the infamous "You died" screen.

Elden Ring players have spent several weeks figuring out her patterns and timings for the whole battle, which requires even Souls veterans to learn how to parry consistently.

Malenia, the boss encounter in Blade of Miquella, is one of the most difficult boss encounters that developer From Software has ever created. At one point during development, Malenia was even more difficult than she is today. With players discovering unique strategies to defeat this dangerous foe months after release, Elden Ring has a lot to discover and learn.

Elden Ring is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
