After EVO 2022, Granblue Fantasy: Versus is scheduled to host a $15,000 global community tournament ...

Granblue Fantasy: Versus has won its first EVO championship, and players across the world have another game to look forward to in the anime fighting game: a $15,000 global community league.

Believe in Victory! Granblue Fantasy: Versus Community League 2022 registrations are now open!

There will be eight qualifiers for each of three regions starting this month: Europe, Asia, and North America. Top players from each of these regions will advance to regional championships starting in January 2023.

The matches will be streamed on Twitch, with different commentary assigned to each region. North America's Ebonic Plague will be the voice of the Europe region, while Xian will round out the Asian talent pool.

All participants in the community league will receive six different in-game skins exclusive to their participation in the event.

There is one issue noticeable for GBFV players. The game was not mentioned about changing to rollback netcode, thus this series will likely be played with the games current delay-based netcode.

Fans of Arc System Works fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ have also experienced a rollback, such as Guilty Gear Strive and DNF Duel. However, adding the online technology to a game that has been out for years isnt in their plans, at least for the time being.
