Hallmark Unveils One Line It Will Never Cross While the Network Expands ...

Hallmark Media provided information recently on how it intends to alter and expand the script of its films, while also highlighting lines the network never intends to cross.

Hallmark is keeping its promise to feel-good, positive programming.

Wonya Lucas, Hallmark Media's President and CEO, and Lisa Hamilton Daly, Hallmark Media's VP of Programming, spoke at a TCA event on August 10 and discussed Hallmark's future plans.

The proposals also include a continuing emphasis on diversity, including in the upcoming Christmas film "Rockettes."

Hallmark has a lot in store for the future, including 40 new Christmas movies just for 2022.

It's a good thing this includes no additional plot lines, like the laundry list of Christmas activities used to be required in each film. Trust your screenwriters (and actors and directors) to make sure the films are familiar.
