Disney Plus is becoming a commercial tier and becoming more costly ...

Disney announced that Disney Plus would receive advertising during the today shareholder meeting.

Starting December 8, a Disney streaming service will start offering advertisements for $7.99 a month. If you're wondering why the ad-free tier is going to be called Disney Plus Premium, it's because all Disney Plus titles will be available on both platforms.

The basic subscription to Hulu will go from $6.99 to $7.99 per month, while the premium version, which includes Hulu without ads, will remain the same at $19.99 per month. Earlier, Disney stated that ESPN Plus costs would rise by the end of the month.

In early 2022, Disney announced that an ad-supported Disney Plus version would be released, although it was claimed to cost less than the ad-free version. And it's true; increasing the price of the ad-free version definitely makes the tier cheaper.
