The new animated film from Mortal Kombats is for serious Kenshi fans ...

According to a new teaser released by Warner Bros. on Wednesday, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind will be available on digital video and Blu-ray. The game's protagonists are, the snowy ninja Sub-Zero and blind swordsman Kenshi Takahashi.

Kenshi will battle the invading forces of long-time Mortal Kombat heel Kano, who appears to have crowned himself king with the aid of series heavies Shang Tsung, Tremor, Erron Black, and Ferra and Torr. Yet Kenshi has a magical sword that gives him vision after being blinded, and Lin Kuei warrior Sub-Zero, who gives him some help in Snow Blinds' tale of revenge.

Kenshi made his Mortal Kombat debut 20 years ago in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as a master swordsman with telekinetic and psychokinetic abilities. He most recently appeared in a playable role alongside his son, the Scorpion-trained Takeda Takahashi in the animated film.

Jeremy Adams directed the latest animated MK film, Mortal Kombat: Snow Blind, which also directed Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpions Revenge and Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.
