Antonio Martinez, a 21-year-old Spanish AWPer, has joined the Movistar Riders, the best CS:GO team in the country, to fill the vacant position left vacant by Alvaro SunPayus Garcia's departure earlier this week.
SunPayus was considered to be the finest player on the Movistar Riders' roster, having helped the all-Spanish team win ESL Challenger Valencia in July and reach the semifinals of IEM Cologne, one of the most important CS:GO events of the year, in the same month.
MartinezSa will have to fill in some big shoes. The 21-year-old previously played for VELOX and does not have experience against top teams, which the Movistar Riders will likely face more often after finishing the first half of the season on a good note.

MartinezSa has only 22 HLTVs records this year, one of which was against a top 50 CS:GO team in the world. The question is if hell be able to do it against tougher opponents and help the Movistar Riders maintain their good form.
MartinezSa is set to have a difficult debut because the first scheduled tournament after the summer player break will be the ESL Pro League season 16, which features the best teams in the world. Cloud9, Team Liquid, FURIA, Evil Geniuses, and Eternal Fire are among the teams drawn in Group D.
