Over League of Legends supporters, the stars are looking even brighter today.

Riot Games has answered the prayers of space dragon lovers across the world by releasing a complete gameplay update for Runeterras favourite Star Forger, Aurelion Soland, the celestial overlord who is now stronger than ever.

Riot is testing out a new style of game called Aurelion Sol, where the developers perform a complete revamp of the champions ability set while still maintaining their current visuals and narrative. The Servant of the Aspects will now have a new set of skills in the game while still maintaining his classic, starry self.

Aurelion Sol has a new Q ability that allows him to fire out starfire from his mouth as long as he has the mana necessary to cast the spell. When Aurelion is using his Lifeform Disintegration Ray, it appears like he can also change the direction in which the beam is aimed.

Aurelion Sols new flying ability allows him to fly like before, but this time, he doesn't have to walk in a straight line for forever; he may simply cast the ability to fly wherever he wants. This means that he can pinpoint where he wants to go with pinpoint accuracy.

In the video, players can combine both Q and W to blast away enemies in his immediate vicinity while flying around the map. It may, however, be a manual skill that must be held.

The abilities revealed will give the champion an interesting new playstyle. However, adjustments to the kit may occur throughout the process leading up to his eventual release.
