Visual updates for Leagues Ahri will be released early next year ...

One of League of Legends' most popularand powerful champions will soon receive major updates to her model, animations, and the appearance of her abilities.

Riot Games announced that Ahri would receive an art and sustainability update (ASU), though no information had been given to players since then. In today's update video, Riot Reav3, the lead producer of gameplay in League, explained that the update is still coming, but that it has been delayed a bit.

Ahris' final appearance in Reav3 was shown, including new clothes, textures on her tails, and more. The video also revealed some of her new animations, including her idle stance, her run, and new particles on her W. However, Reav3 said the team has decided to postpone the release of her ASU until early next year.

In the 2022 season, Ahri was paired with champions like Janna and Sivir, in a bid to make her playstyle more apparent rather than a mix of assassin/mage. She has since become a staple pick in solo and professional leagues across the globe thanks to her near-unlimited dashes on her ultimate and self-healing abilities.

Although Reav3 did not specify if any other ASUs are currently in development, he did tease fans by noting that Neeko and Syndra might be receiving mid-scope updates similar to what Ahri received earlier this year.

Since no specific timeline was provided in todays update video, fans can expect her update to be released in League at some point in early 2023.
