Riot Reav3, the main producer of League gameplay, teased several league champions who will join the ever-evolving cast in the MOBA in 2023. Among these was a brief glimpse at an upcoming support champion, which fans have been referring to for years.

A male enchanter champion from the Ixtal region will join the League at some point next year, though he is still in some preliminary stages of development. Reav3 has shared a visual teaser of three smiling wisp-like creatures that appear to be a part of the champions' kit in some capacity.

The most recent champion from Ixtal is known for the wealth of magic that lay within its lands, although foreign invasion has forced the inhabitants of the region to hide themselves from the outside world. Champions like Rengar, Zyra, and Nidalee also hail from this region, although Qiyana's status paints her as royalty above them.

Taric would be the only male enchanter on the League's roster, according to a lengthy teaser for Renata Glasc earlier this year. The addition of this new champion will cement a male enchanter on the roster.

Due to the fact that the champion is still in a very early stage of development, no further information has been provided on his future support. This may not be until later next year due to the new Shuriman tank, KSante, and Darkin assassin.
