For UK viewers, here are spoilers for Home and Away.
Jacqui Purvis, star of Home and Away, discusses her character Felicity's surprise when she discovers that her brother and her friend have a romantic past.
The arrival of Lyrik, a group based in Summer Bay, will soon be accompanied by Bob (Rob Mallett), Eden (Stephanie Panozzo), Kirby (Angelina Thomson) and Remi (Adam Rowland, who are long-time Felicity friends.
Felicity is eager to see old friends, especially Eden, and quickly books the band to perform at Salt. But, at the gig, she will be surprised when Eden and Cash both have a past.
Purvis shared her joy about having Felicity's mates join her in the Bay as a band exclusively to Digital Spy.
"I was surprised when I heard that a band was coming on, because you get to experience live music which is always enjoyable," she said. "What we really need right now is that light, fun entertainment.
"What we need to do after going through Covid and all that horrible stuff is to laugh and smile and just have a good time."
Lyrik's arrival will allow fans to learn more about Felicity's past and what she did before she arrived in Summer Bay, Purvis said.
When Lyrik and Cash join up for a job at Salt, Felicity is surprised when Eden jumps into the arms of her brother Cash, who later admits that the couple had previously dated.
Purvis explained why Felicity is so irritated by the revelation: "I think it's because they're really good friends and Edens suddenly lies to her and about something that's so dear to her heart, being Cash.
"Thats something you should never lie about, friends." Felicity is stunned, and secondly, she doesnt understand why Eden would not tell her something like that. It's a bit of a confronting situation, she's completely thrown."
Purvis teased what Felicity's future holds for Tane.
"I can't say much," she said, but what I can say is that Tane and Flick are very much in love and that there will certainly be more romance to come." "There might be a few dodgy characters that try to interfere with Tane and Flick, so stay tuned!"
