The Electric State, a Netflix film starring Millie Bobby Brown, has selected a number of outstanding actors.

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Marvel and The Gray Man, have directed and written the film, which also stars Chris Pratt. Both actors are also on board, with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who also work on the film.

Michelle Yeoh of Shang-Chi, Brian Cox of Succession, and Stanley Tucci of The Hunger Games are all on the cast, as well as Seinfeld's Jason Alexander and Big Mouth's Jenny Slate.

Cox and Slate are expected to play CGI characters in the film, although the other roles are currently unreported by the site.

The Electric State is based on Simon Stalenhag's graphic novel with the same name, focusing on Brown's orphaned kid as she navigates the American West in a retro-futuristic past alongside a robot and an eccentric drifter to find her brother.

Joe Russo explained the project to Digital Spy recently: "We're trying to keep the narrative under wraps, but, you know, there's a lot of social commentary in the graphic novel and there is in the film as well." "We're very excited about this."

"It's a visually stunning film, and we're working with Dennis Gassner, who is one of the best production designers who's ever lived. He's assisting us with the creation of the world and the film."

Brown was most recently seen in the fourth season of Stranger Things, while Yeoh was featured last year in Marvel's hit Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and more recently multiverse film Everything Everywhere All at Once. Cox is expected to return for the fourth season of Succession.

The Electric State will be available on Netflix.
