The Munsters, a massive, semi-clumsy Frankensteins monster of a man, is on the lookout for true love in his future wife Lily (Sheri Moon Zombie), according to Rob Zombie.
The prequel to Zombies will feature its ghoulish characters and the town of Transylvania as an origin story for the family friendly group of monsters first made famous in the 1960s CBS series of the same name. The Herman centered teaser is just another hint for what will follow in the future with Zombies 60s style animations and colors that paint the beginning of the greatest love story of all time.
Daniel Roebuck will play Lily's father The Count, Cassandra Peterson will play Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, and original cast members Butch Patrick and Pat Priest will reprise their roles as The Tin Can Man and in an unidentified role.
Universal Credit Card Programs are now accepting images.
Since last fall, the director of House of 1000 Corpses has been extremely open about the feature, both via his social media accounts, and with posters and teases surrounding the upcoming film. We are anticipating a similar mini-reel for Lily and perhaps Grandpa.
The Munsters will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on September 27, with a Netflix release date following shortly afterwards. You can find Herman's wish list in the Instagram post below.
