Alone in the Dark, a survival horror game, is getting a remake ...

THQ Nordic announced that the iconic 1992 survivor horror game Alone in the Dark would be reimagined and reimagined. Players will journey back to New Orleans in the 1920s and the original games Derceto Manor, where Lovecraftian horrors await.

Pieces Interactive, a Swedish studio, is responsible for developing the new Alone in the Dark game (Magicka 2, Titan Quest: Atlantis), but the most well-known name involved in the project, for horror game enthusiasts anyway, is Mikael Hedberg, who is well-known for Frictional Games Soma and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Hedberg's story is said to be an original one that includes characters, locations, and thematic elements from the first three games

Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood, the original protagonists, have returned as playable characters, and both will learn their own history of the story. Derceto is a place for mentally challenged people, as well as strange inhabitants, and deadly monsters.

THQ Nordic has hired Guy Davis, a comic book artist and creature designer who has frequently collaborated with Guillermo del Toro.

Alone in the Darks is a puzzle game developed by THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive, and will be released on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X at an unspecified date.
