The Guard wins the FaZe Clan, putting them just one win short of becoming VALORANT Champions ...

By defeating FaZe Clan in the upper bracket, the Guard advanced to the North America Last Chance Qualifier grand final.

The Guard has continued to grow as a team and reach new heights since they qualified for Masters: Reykjavik, and are now making one last attempt to Champions by executing a near-perfect run through the upper bracket.

FaZe had also been another team that continued to improve at an exponential rate, looking promising as candidates for being the last team to represent NA in Istanbul. However, FaZe showed that they too have rough days while playing against The Guard.

The Guard used FaZe's slow start against them to take an 8-4 lead into halftime, but FaZe's POISED couldnt win a gunfight, finishing Haven with only three kills and 17 deaths.

After Haven, the teams moved on to Icebox, which had been chosen by The Guard. With one map victory under their belt, The Guard would have to keep their momentum going through a map that they had the advantage over.

The Guard maintained their lead from the previous map, going for an 8-4 start this time, but were unable to close out the game, giving The Guard a 13-7 victory.

FaZe will wait for the winner of Cloud9 against. 100 Thieves while The Guard advances to the LCQ final.
