Three Celebrity MasterChef winners fought it out in the semi-finals tonight (August 12).

Paul Chuckle, Love Island's Faye Winter, and McFly's Danny Jones competed against each other by preparing a two-course feast for the judges as well as some special guests.

Three former winners were also judged at the dinner, including hosts John Torode and Gregg Wallace, who were both runners up for 2021's finalist. Lisa Faulkner, who was also a 2010 champion, and 2021 Christmas special winner Judi Love

Paul Chuckle was the only person to be eliminated from the race due to his nerves failing to get the better of him, which meant Faye and Danny were the only two contestants who advanced to the semi-finals.

Paul drew pork medallions with prunes and apple in a cream sauce and a boozy chocolate dessert that failed to please the judges.

Several pork carcasses were undercooked, and the chocolate mousse that he whipped was not the right consistency, and there were eggs that were scrambled into it.

As Judi Love pointed out, the greens he served on the side with his main course contained no seasonings. "I can't imagine how I might taste butter or black pepper." It's a good wholesome meal, but it needs a bit more flavour.

Paul was eliminated from the tournament, but the other two contestants advanced to the semi-finals unharmed.

Danny's second dish was not as flavorful as the judges anticipated, and Faye's sponge cakes had their tops scrapped off.

Both competitors created some exquisite dishes that seemed to enthuse the judges.

The only question remains, who will advance to the finals and win the show?
