Kung Fu Panda is returning to the big screens, after a long time, but have no fear, as the film series is set to make a comeback. Kung Fu Panda 4 has officially found a home among the next film releases.
DreamWorks is set to continue their famous ancient China tale until 2024. The studio's animation studio will take viewers back to the world of smooth fighting anthropomorphic animals on March 8, 2024, to be exact.
The next Kung Fu Panda film has not been released with much more information than a release date. Given that Jack Black's role of Po is the heart of the franchise, we're confident that many of them will reprise their roles.
The Fall Guy with Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt was also announced the day before the movie, as well as Sony Animations Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which was originally scheduled for a summer 2023 date.
Following its success over the years, DreamWorks is planning a second Kung Fu Panda film. Between the previous three films, 2008s Kung Fu Panda, 2011s Kung Fu Panda 2, and 2016s Kung Fu Panda 3, the films have made $1.8 billion worldwide at the box office. The fourth film made the biggest deal with a $665 million gross, but the last movie made the least with $521 million gross.
The Dragon Knight, a Netflix series that resumes with the events of the third film, was a top trending series in July.
The Bad Guys, an original animated film, was well received by the audience. The last Wish is the studio's final film, and there are plans to release a third Trolls film in late 2023.
