FlyQuest held off an upset victory to end their four-game losing run in week eight of the LCS 2022 Summer Split.

Both FlyQuest and 100T faced off in different directions in order to win the LCS 2022 Summer Split. FlyQuest was battling to stay alive in the playoffs while 100 Thieves was able to extend their seven-game winning streak to eight.

Both FlyQuest and 100T started slowly as the two teams expanded from SC to SC in the later stages of the game.

FlyQuest attempted to disrupt their bot side only to lose seven minutes later when 100 Thieves were able to disengage their advances and prevent FlyQuest's first turret grab. At the 20-minute mark, FlyQuest received the first major blow of the game thanks to two successful picks from Ssumday and Abbedagge.

100T was unable to match up to FlyQuests' more consistent mid-game structure, and were on the verge of being thumped as FlyQuest reached the doorstep of the 100T nexus. The team looked to continue using the stalling technique to maintain their late-game power spikes.

The comeback was not intended to be, as FlyQuest closed things out with a successful teamfight around the Baron pit at the 39-minute mark to put a stop to the 100-win streak.

100T is down for the regular season defeat of Evil Geniuses, putting them in second place in the Summer Split regular season standings. The Spring Split finalists will look to end the season on a good note when they face CLG and Liquid to conclude the LCS super week.

FlyQuest are now 8-9 in the Summer Split, and have an even stronger hold of sixth place with a three-game advantage over TSM. They will aim to close their LCS 2022 Summer Split campaign on a good note against Immortals and TSM.
