This Fall, 'The Lost Boys' will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray ...

The Lost Boys will finally be available for the first time later this autumn on Warner Home Entertainment's 4K Blu-ray release on September 20 at the retail price of $24.99.

The film will be available for purchasers as a 4K Blu-ray combo pack that will include the 4K version of the film alongside a digital copy of the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will also include previously released special features such as "The Lost Boys: A Retrospective."

"Inside the Vampire's Cave," "Vamping Out: Greg Cannom's Undead Creations," "The Return of Sam and the Frog Brothers," "The Lost Scenes," and the film's original trailer are all included on the new release. Many enthusiasts are pleasantly surprised that the film will now be available in a wide dynamic range for their collection.

The Lost Boys was a box office and critical smash hit, and it would eventually be followed by Two Films: Lost Boys: The Thirst in 2010. The film influenced future teenage series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and fans may now experience the classic vampire film in a new light.

The Lost Boys' 4K Ultra HD release will be available on September 20. Check out the original trailer and official synopsis below:

Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam Emerson (Corey Haim) move with their mother to their grandfathers house in California's Murder Capital of the World. Soon after arriving, Michael becomes involved with a deadly motorcycle band of vampires with a charismatic leader (Kiefer Sutherland). When Sam becomes involved with the Frog Brothers, who confess to being undercover Vampire hunters, he realizes that it is up to them to rescue Michael and the rest of the town from the vampire group.
