The HGTV show has named a new ugly house in America, but many fans think the program went the easy way out.
Is it true that @hgtv never chooses the ACTUAL #UgliestHouseInAmerica? Maybe it's more the "easiest kinda ugly house for #hgtv to renovate for the least amount of money" show? This is the second and last time I waste my time on this.

Does anyone else believe that @hgtv doesn't pick the ACTUAL #UgliestHouseInAmerica???? one of the many tweets on the subject read. Perhaps its more like the easiest kind of ugly house for #hgtv to renovate for the least amount of money show? This is the second and last time I waste my time on this.
Retta, a comedian, travels the country's weirdest, tacky, and least practical houses. In the end, Alison Victoria gives the uglyest house a $150,000 makeover.
The House With No Privacy in Palm City, Florida, was the winner of this season. Its unusual features included unsurpassed walls, stale flooring, and a lack of closet space.
I'm not particularly interested in this decision, since it makes more sense than it did last season, but just like last season, 'ugliest' becomes 'easiest and cheapest' to fix.
BigBen74 (@Big_Ben74) will be available on August 15, 2022.
Im not particularly pleased with this decision, according to another viewer, because it does make more sense than it did last season, but it makes the ugly part of the situation easier and cheaper.
The other finalists were The Jailhouse Rock in Larkspur, Colorado, The Linoleum Showroom in Los Angeles, California, Unwelcome to the Terrordome in High Rolls, New Mexico, and The Inconvenient Dollhouse Willmar, Minnesota.
Others criticized homeowners who applied to the program.
I have watched every episode of #UgliestHouse and am amazed by how people purchased these houses only to disapprove them and express their opinions. Im not sure what is going on behind the scenes.

I binge watched every episode of #UgliestHouse and I cannot believe people bought these houses only to be enraged by them. They bought them because they believed they would. Im really not understanding the thought process, they wrote.
The Green-Heavy Design Was Controversial
When it comes to houses, my favorite phrase to use is "embrace color," but I'm still shocked by this green. #UgliestHouse #UgliestHouseInAmerica

Victoria reimagined the room, incorporating open-concept walls that spanned the ceiling. She used white and light wood as her materials, complemented by pops of bright green.
When it comes to houses, my favorite thing to say is embrace color, but uhm WOW on this green, said one viewer on Twitter.
Another fan has added that HGTV must stop trying to stop this nasty a** green trend from happening.
The entire family seemed to be fans of the new design in the end.
The Ugliest House in America Will Return for a Third Season
HGTV (@hgtv) has shared a post.
Retta and Victoria will return for a third season of the popular competition series! Just days after the season 2 premiere, HGTV announced that Ugliest House in America will return for a third season.
According to a press release, six new episodes are scheduled to premiere in early 2023.
HGTV Senior Vice President Betsy Ayala said that millions of people tuned-in to see Retta hilariously celebrate the ugly alongside the homeowners during the first season of Ugliest House in America, and that we found some spectacularly ugly houses in paradise in season two. In the next season, well go back and give fans more of what they like the most about this series epically ugly and fantastically funny home tours with Retta.
On discovery+, viewers may follow the first two seasons.
