PS5 Restocking: On August 19 and 20, GameStop will be open in store

PS5 Restocking: On August 19 and 20, GameStop will be open in store ...

On August 19 and 20, GameStop will release a new PS5 restock, which will allow you to participate, whether or not you are a PowerUp Rewards Pro member.

The PlayStation 5 was released in just over two years, but the console is still expensive to obtain. Most gamers are still dependent on specific restocks to secure their games console.

In the second half of 2022, PS5 drops are becoming far more frequent than ever before. And GameStop is one of the most common restockers on the market.

However, another store sells PS5 consoles in-store every day! And, whats more, they dont require you to purchase an expensive bundle.

PS5 Restock at GameStop August 19-20

In its August 19-20 restocking, GameStop is offering up new PS5 bundles, both for members and regular customers.

On August 19, the retailer will begin offering new PS5 bundles for PowerUp Rewards Pro members at all of its stores in the United States.

If you aren't already a PowerUp Rewards Pro member, you may join the GameStop website for $14.99 a year.

The announcement further states that GameStops PS5 stock will then go on sale for customers without a membership one day later on August 20.

This is the first time in a row that GameStop has opened its stock to all customers, and it appears that either demand is declining, or the restocking size is increasing this time around.

According to a new tweet from videogamedeals, the GameStop PS5 bundles that are available will include the following:

  • Playstation 5 Disc Edition
  • Additional PS5 DualSense Controller
  • Madden NFL 23
  • PS5 Digital Edition with Horizon Forbidden West
  • PS5 DualSense Controller Galaxy Purple
  • $70 PS Store Voucher
  • PS5 Digital Edition
  • PS5 DualSense Controller Galaxy Purple
  • $70 PS Store Voucher

We dont have any specific pricing information yet, but console-hunters should expect to pay a bit more than they would like to pay for their PS5.

Walmart has now put PS5 consoles on store shelves at the start of this month. It's worth a look if you have a brick-and-mortar store nearby.

If you're still interested in a next-gen console, be sure to get a PS5 restock invite from Amazon! The world's largest online retailer now offers PS5 consoles directly to those who request an invitation, but you'll have to wait for your chance to buy.
