Never Have I Ever Upon My Own Difficulty
Never Have I Ever had a chance to re-watch the film for the third season, bringing Devi and Paxton's relationship to an end shortly after it finally began. The fourth season was also set up by seeing Devi apparently lose her virginity to Ben.
While season 4 of the Mindy Kaling directed hit sounds exciting, it's also bittersweet since it's been announced that the program will end with this coming season.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, a Devi actress who spoke exclusively to Digital Spy, has admitted that she's okay with the fact that there's only one season left.
"I'm very pleased with how the season concludes," she said when asked if she's pleased with how the whole program comes to an end.
"Honestly, what's been a huge blessing is that everyone on Never Have I Ever, in all the different crew departments, the cast, the writers, and the directors, we all knew that season 4 would be our last. Sometimes you just don't know when it's going to be your final installment, right?
"So we got to know ourselves, and because of that, we got to give it our all, and I think we give it our all, then some."
In a lengthy interview, the star also addressed a number of topics.
Ramakrishnan took us on a tour through the show's behind-the-scenes, talking about how many of her own mannerisms became part of the hero, what it was like working with Kaling, and whether the cast anticipated the program to be such a hit when they started the first season.
Seasons 1-3 of Never Have I Ever are now available on Netflix.
