After the BBC's transfer of coverage of the American sport to ITV, former Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker was appointed as the host of The NFL Show.
Laura Woods, a Sky Sports presenter, will take over as anchoring Osi Umenyiora and fellow former Stricly Come Dancing star Jason Bell, who are now leaving the BBC.
Walker tweeted: "You may have seen the NFL Show moving to ITV. It was always one of my favourite shows to do."
The presenter had nothing but praise for his now-dead co-stars, stating that they would continue to be exceptional on the program.
"I loved [every] second spent with [Umenyiora and Bell] in & out of the studio," he wrote. "We were very proud of the awards we received from the show, the record viewing figures, and the endless messages we received every week from loyal NFL fans all over the United Kingdom."
"It will only get better with her at the helm," he said of Woods' performance.
Woods had previously worked for Sky Sports for over a decade, as well as being a radio host on TalkSport and presenting ITV's women's football coverage since 2021.
Before ITV signed a three-year deal to bring the program back to the network, the BBC had been the preferred supplier of American football in the United Kingdom for the past seven years.
The NFL's coverage on ITV will begin on September 9, which marks the first day of the 2022/2023 season.
