The following article discusses sexual assault, which some readers may find disturbing.

EastEnders spoilers will be released shortly.

Ben and Callum Mitchell's emotional scenes from Thursday's (August 18) episode have been previewed by EastEnders.

Callum approaches the police interrogating booth to find Ben after his estranged husband decides to report his rapist Lewis.

Both men are surprised to see each other. Callum wants to know why Ben has come to the precinct, but will his husband eventually disclose what he's gone through?

EastEnders will air on BBC One on Thursday at 7.30pm. The entire episode, as well as all episodes from this week, is currently available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

The Mitchells have had a particularly tense week as Ben's father Phil was forced to intervene when his sister Sam's quest to make up with him went completely off the rails.

Sam and Zack Hudson had teamed up to kidnap Lewis so Phil might get his revenge only for Lewis to escape the boot of their career with a loaded rifle.

Ben threatened to shoot his rapist, instead he forced him to admit that their sexual encounter was not consensual.

Ben then shot Lewis with a warning bullet, before confiding in Phil that he's prepared to report Lewis to police for the rape. Ben has yet to reveal to Callum about being assaulted, though he'll get his chance in Thursday's episode.

EastEnders is available on BBC One Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7.30pm, while some episodes air during summer sports events. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
