Ming-Na Wen of The Mandalorian gives a sneak peek at the second season of The Book of Boba Fett ...

Ming-Na Wen has given fans an update on a second season of The Book of Boba Fett, expressing hopes that an announcement will be released shortly.

The program, which premiered late last year, has yet to be confirmed for a second season, though things were left in a manner that a follow-up season might happen.

Wen asked if we could see more of Boba Fett and her character Fennec Shand's antics at Fan Expo Boston.

"I hope for a second season of The Book of Boba Fett," she said. "I never count my chickens before they hatch, because in this business, you just never know. But knock on wood, they'll be announcing that soon, I hope."

Temuera Morrison, a fellow star, has recently addressed criticism of the Mandalorian spin-off series, stating that there are occasions he would have done "a little bit different."

"I've been getting the support of all of the fans," he told ScreenRant.

Morrison continued to say he is "very proud, and just grateful" for the wonderful opportunity to play Boba Fett alongside Wen, adding: "We had a fantastic connection. She had been my confidant, and it was a great duo effort."

"Now that I'm looking back, I don't know, it's just one of those things. Things are wonderful when you look back, but there are also certain things I might have done a little differently.

"But again, it's just been fantastic for me to work with Jon [Favreau] and be a part of the Mandalorian family."

Andor, the next Star Wars show in the pipeline, will follow Rogue One's Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and the birth of the Rebellion, with the show set to premiere with three episodes on September 21.

On Disney+, The Book of Boba Fett is available for viewing.
