According to an exclusive report from Deadline, critically acclaimed actors Willem Dafoe and Lily James have joined the cast of Finalmente Lalba, an upcoming independent drama directed by Saverio Constanzo.
Rebecca Antonac is also a part of the film alongside Dafoe and James, and Rachel Sennott is a part of the film. No specifics have been released about the film's plot other than the title's translation, which means Finally Dawn. Further details will be released as the film's production continues.
Finalmente Lalba's production is expected to begin in Italy later this month, while the other two actors will likely provide further information as the film prepares to be released.
Dafoe has been nominated for four Academy Awards for his roles in films such as Platoon, Shadow of the Vampire, The Florida Project, and At Eternity's Gate. He was best known for playing the green goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man from 2002, before reprising the role of the maniacal villain in Spider-Man: No Way Home last year.
