The game has been frequently discussed among warzone enthusiasts following the Activision document leak that presuaded the worldwide release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Metaphor, a well-known Warzone streamer and former League of Legends player, has now provided further information.
Metaphor has claimed to have seen the Warzone 2 map and its gameplay against bots in a Reddit post. He also answered some key questions.
Metaphor describes the Warzone 2 map as being stunning in the game. It appears to be stunning visually, the structures are more detailed on the inside, and the movement is more grounded.
When asked about the game's gameplay and skill level, he said he saw people shoot bots on the preset difficulty in Multiplayer and standard difficulty for DMZ. One of the key points he highlights is that there is no slide canceling, making it feel more like Call of Duty 4.
Metaphor claims that the high AR recoil seen in the released teaser in Warzone 2 is just a scam. He has even seen gameplay of three unconfirmed snipers, and he thinks it looks good.
Metaphor said the map would look like Verdansk in any way. It does appear to be a cross between Blackout and Caldera.
If any of the claims have been confirmed by Activision or Infinity Ward, Call of Duty fans should take everything with a pinch of salt. With the expected release date of Warzone 2, we will certainly get further information.
