Games Are Over This Weekend, a quick all-women speedrunning marathon, Flame Fatales, will take place ...

Flame Fatales is a all-women speedrunning tournament that will benefit the Malala Fund this weekend.

The Games Done Quick Twitch channel will run the marathon every week for fans to see their favorite speedrunners compete in a slew of different races on Aug. 21.

The broadcast aims to both highlight women in the speedrunning community and raise money for a charity. The Malala Fund, which GDQ is working with for this marathon, is a non-profit that works to provide free, safe, and quality education for girls around the world. Last year, the GDQ all-women marathon raised over $125,000 for the Malala Fund.

Fans can expect to see games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and Stardew Valley during the broadcast, among other things. Some of the games that are being run in this tournament include Disneys 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue, Hello Kitty and Sanrio Friends Racing, and Boyfriend Dungeon.

The Malala Fund receives 100 percent of donations made during the Flame Fatales marathon directly from the Games Done Quick home page on the website.

The full schedule for the marathon may be found on the GDQ website. Women will compete through their games starting at 12pm CT, and the first game will be Unpacking. Speedrunning will continue throughout the week until the event concludes around 12am CT on Aug. 27.
